I was born and raised in Busto Arsizio, Italy. After getting my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Pavia, I moved to the United States for my graduate education at the University of Colorado at Boulder in the laboratory of Dr. Jackie Lee. After that I moved to Pasadena, California as a Milton Wexler postdoctoral scholar in the Kennedy lab at Caltech... where I am now!

Motorcycling is not inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, incompetence and stupidity… the things I dislike the most.
As such, I consider it a very good form of training.
